People’s Bead 2026 celebrates the creativity of the worldwide Trollbeads community with Summer Evening, the winning design by Alessandra Ciambola of Italy.

Now in its 18th edition, the People’s Bead event invites Trollbeads fans from around the world to become part of the design process. From this year’s submissions, 24 finalists were selected before the community cast its votes to choose the newest addition to the Trollbeads collection.

The winning design, Summer Evening, arrives during a particularly meaningful year as Trollbeads celebrates its 50th Jubilee. Inspired by the brief, beautiful transition between daylight and night, the faceted glass bead captures the changing colors and atmosphere of a warm summer evening.

Individually handmade from molten glass over an open flame, each Summer Evening bead has its own subtle variations—a fitting result for a design created by a member of the Trollbeads community and chosen by that community to become part of its story.
