THE END TO YOUR LOVE HATE RELATIONSHIP WITH COPPER JEWELRY

We have had a little bit of feed back on this subject so I would like to shed some light onto how I fell back in love with these warm hued lovelies.c

I will be the first to admit that I was beyond excited when Trollbeads brought copper into the collection. I HAD to get a bangle. And I so loved my bangle. Until the day I wore it layered with a bunch of other bangles. When I took my bracelet off at the end of the day it looked... Well pretty awful. Almost black in some places it was so dramatically tarnished.

The key to cleaning your Copper pieces isn't some new cleaning product. In fact, you probably already have some in your house. White vinegar and salt are really all you need to make your copper shine- like crazy. Here is how we do it:

1.) Grab a small glass or ceramic bowl

2.) Fill the bowl with 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water

3.) Sprinkle in some sea salt

4.)Stir

5.) Dump your copper in there and let them set there for 1-3 minutes (no more because the vinegar can eat away at the rubber inside the stoppers).

6.) Dry with paper towel

7.) Smile because your jewelry looks as good as new!
