Trollbeads Soul Artichoke Bead

Often, the onion is used as a metaphor for pealing the layers, and with each subsequent layer you get a little closer to your true self.  The artichoke, however, is perhaps even more vivid.  By removing the thorny and coarse leaves, one at a time, you eventually get to the soft, (and delicious) heart!

This lovely silver Trollbead can serve as a reminder that we often need to protect ourselves on the outside, but that we should never lose sight of our inner tenderness. 

This Trollbead retired in the Spring of 2019.
